Massage

60 minutes: $100
90 minutes: $150

Each Massage session is tailored for the specific client and their needs. I do not prescribe to the "one hour full body" for everybody mindset! If you want to focus on just upper or lower body OR just a problem area for the entire time I CAN DO THAT! But here are a few standard descriptions to help understand basic massage terminology. Thank you for stopping by.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. "Swedish" is really more of a style, not a pressure, but that is how it has come to be percieved in the US and most people refer to a lighter pressure massage using this verbiage.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Deep work is slower and can result in some soreness after the treatment. Plenty of water should be ingested because fluid has been moved around the tissues and we are made of water, always good to stay hydrated!

Prenatal Massage

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra  weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation. Prenatal massage can be done in any trimeseter. Please speak with your OBGYN to make sure they are ok with you getting massaged at any point in your pregnancy. Pregnant woman can have any pressure they are
comfortable recieving, just no services that involve heat such as the sauna.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for more active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. This involves stretching and more movement, than other massages offered. OFten the client remains at least partially clothed so we can test and
retest range of motion or flexibility, getting on and off the table throughout the session.

Hot Stone Therapy

60-90 minutes: $25

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed on your body and used as a tool to massage in order to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles are then heated with these stones to release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

To add just a few warm stones to any massage is no additional charge.

You can also book a completely immersive, full body hot stone experience using both traditional basalt stones and Himalayan salt stones all over for the entire duration of your massage for increased relaxation for $25

Face Cupping

15 minutes: $20

Face cupping is a gentle, therapeutic treatment that uses soft silicone cups to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and encourage lymphatic drainage. This technique helps reduce puffiness, ease facial and jaw tightness, and promote a healthy, refreshed appearance. It can also help relieve tension headaches and sinus pressure by improving blood flow and reducing facial muscle strain.

Cold face globes are incorporated for an instant cooling sensation that soothes the skin, enhances lifting when used in upward motions, and supports lymphatic drainage when used in downward motions.

Finish off with a warm towel wrapped around your face with light compressions.

Add this 15-minute service to any massage for enhanced relaxation, visible rejuvenation, and a radiant, refreshed glow.
