About Me

I graduated from the Omaha School of Massage in August of 2012. Having practiced and been licensed in multiple states having to moving every few years due to being a military spouse has given me the opportunity to meet so many more clients and broader client base than I normally could have initally been exposed to and I am so grateful!

I am so very passionate about this career and helping others, relieving their aches and pains and watching people walk away better than when they walked towards me! I came to this profession quite accidentally. It started because I burned out of a career in sales and decided to go to nursing school. After taking an EMT course just to fill ectra credits, I craved that pre-hospital adrenaline in addition to wanting to help people. Very quickly however, I discovered the payscale was not sustainable so I decided to pursue Paramedic certification after recieving my EMT certification. But life first brought me a husband, a move to Nebraska and due to changes in how the EMT/Paramedic profession and their schooling worked, I took a temporary change of course and went to massage school. It was soemthing I had looked into a few years earlier but never really pursued. After graduating, I decided to get some experience as a massage therapist before starting my Paramedic program and would put it aside until we PCS'd from that duty station.

Fast forward to landing here in Virginia. After trying to return to the pre-hospital field many times, I was puled back to massage by clients, job offers and more. Clearly, this is where life wanted me to be and I was ok with that. No adrenaline, no life saving moments and no big bucks...but still the love of helping people and watching them change for the better.

One divorce and much happier marriage later, I moved from the penninsula up in Hampton to the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area and coouldn't be happier!

I have worked in all types of luxury spas, membership spas, mobile work sports and athletics...and I love it all!

So whether you want a relaxing spa-like experience or you need someone to dig deep and work out your problem areas using all the tools I have, I am your therapist! My massage studio is located in my home in the Great Bridge are of Chesapeake. There is one table in my space so there is only room for one client at a time. I do have two small dogs that live with my husband and I in case you are someone who has allergies, but I do my very best to keep the studio closed off and clean.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I look forward to helping you achieve your massage goals and become YOUR massage therapist!
